Elmwood Children's Ministry

Nursery

Elmwood Bible Chapel offers a nursery service for infants and small children from newborns to 3 yr olds.

Sunday School

Elmwood Bible Chapel offers Sunday School to children ages 4 to 12. 

Awana

Elmwood Bible Chapel is happy to offer AWANA® each Tuesday evening. This free kids club starts at 6:25 PM. AWANA® is geared to kids from 3 years old through grade 6. AWANA® stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.

Trek

Elmwood Bible Chapel is happy to offer Trek® each Tuesday evening. This free kids club starts at 6:25 PM. Trek® is geared to youth from grade 6 through grade 8. Trek® Helping youth discover their destiny in Christ. For grades 7–8. Trek® will lead your middle school students to dive deep into Scripture so that they can learn to own their faith and discover what they actually believe.

Youth Group

Youth are an important part of our local church. The Youth Group focus is putting into practice what they learn from Bible study. Learning to serve others and participating in youth activities is creating godly growth to prepare them for their young adult years.

What denomination is Elmwood Bible Chapel?

Elmwood Bible Chapel is a non-denominational church. There is no hierarchy or dominion ruling the church. The Church is accountable to the Chief Shepherd the Lord Jesus Christ.

What is the foundation of the teaching at Elmwood?

The foundation for teaching at Elmwood is the whole council of God from the entirety of the Bible; Old Testament and New Testament. Applications from the Old Testament with instruction in New Testament Principals.

Is there a dress code to attend Elmwood?

There is no dress code; the instruction from the Bible is to dress modestly, 1 Timothy 2:9;

What are your services like?

Our mandate is to fulfill the necessity for a healthy church found in Acts 2:42 ¶ And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine(New Testament teaching) and fellowship(Gathering in Christ), in the breaking of bread(communion), and in prayers. Our desire is to grow together in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. We gather, we sing, we pray, we worship we learn. 

Who is the Pastor or Bishop?

At Elmwood there is no one Pastor or Bishop and no paid clergy. Elders (presbytery) are responsible to guide the assembly in spiritual matters (1 Peter 5:2-3) as well  as physical and financial matters. Development of an elder comes through the Holy Spirit (Acts 20:28). The Holy Spirit raises him up and he is readily recognized by his qualifications (1Tim.3:1-7; Titus 1:6-9),
